Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive at PhonePe, you will be responsible for driving sales of our Soundbox, Scanner, and Swipe Machine products in the assigned territories. You will engage with potential clients, educate them on the benefits of our payment solutions, and foster long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Promotion: Actively promote and sell PhonePe’s Soundbox, Scanner, and Swipe Machine to potential customers, including merchants and businesses.
- Client Engagement: Identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their payment needs and demonstrate how PhonePe products can meet those needs.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback on products and services and communicate insights to the management team for continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and support teams to execute promotional activities and provide excellent after-sales support.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Minimum qualification of 12th Pass; graduates are preferred.
- Experience: Prior sales experience in the technology or financial services sector is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Mobility: Must have a bike and a valid driving license for fieldwork.
