Job Purpose:

The primary objective of the Business Relationship Manager – SBE-Small Business Enterprise-Sales position is to drive new business origination for Working Capital (WC) and Business Loans (BL) from new-to-bank (NTB) clients. The role entails fostering strong relationships with local RL branches, facilitating cross-sales of various banking products, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) segment. Additionally, the position emphasizes the importance of understanding client needs, networking, and promoting a conducive environment for business development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Originate new business for Working Capital (WC) and Business Loans (BL) from NTB clients within the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) segment.
  2. Cultivate relationships with local RL branches, serving as a key liaison for business origination and customer servicing.
  3. Drive cross-sales initiatives for additional banking products such as Keyman Group Insurance (KGI), Keyman Life Insurance (KLI), Point of Sale (POS), etc.
  4. Conduct regular meetings with prospective clients, understanding their business requirements, and proposing tailored financial solutions.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and meet client expectations.
  6. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry insights to identify new business opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
  7. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, business proposals, and sales activities using CRM systems or relevant tools.
  8. Provide timely and accurate reports to management regarding sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, credit assessment processes, and banking regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving market dynamics.

Experience:

0-5 years of relevant branch banking experience.
