Position – Officer/Executive –Ramp, Security, Catering & Cabin Appearance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification: Graduates from a Recognized University as determined by IndiGo. Result awaited and exam-pending candidates are not eligible. Please carry your graduation degree along
  2. If at any stage prior to or during the Employment of Candidate, it is found that the requisite qualification is not completed from a Recognized Board or University as determined by IndiGo, such candidate’s Offer for Employment or Employment is liable to be withdrawn or terminated.
  3. Desired Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Customer Service Aptitude, Open to work in rotational shifts, able to work under pressure and under extreme weather condition.
  4. Airport Operations Experience Preferred.
  5. Well-groomed and well spoken.
  6. No Visible Tattoo marks/ body art
  7. Interviewed Candidates can reapply after 6 months.

Job Description –

Security – Screeners & Basic Avsec certification preferred: You will be responsible for implementation of security policy and procedures laid down by the Company.

Focus: Manage safe and secure operations in accordance with security program and applicable procedures.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain standards as per Company requirements
  • Ensure effective threat assessment and response capability
  • Achieve department goals and follow-up.
  • Perform duties as per the Security Programme.
  • Maintain performance standards and follow up with your shift
  • Monitor continuously the Quality System and the level of conformance
  • Secure quality level
  • Optimize resource
  • Aware of Emergency Response Procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Acquire and maintain necessary skills required to perform job functions
  • Maintain work procedures as per company requirements
  • Carry out development dialogue with the Team leaders

Ramp – L&T & LO certification preferred.

  • Confirm the ETA of the flight from OCC or System (Navitaire).
  • Take the bay no. from Apron and convey it to all the stations on R.T.
  • Ensure that you are at bay D-20 mins with all the equipment’s required.
  • Note down the Touch down and Chocks and convey it on R.T.
  • Align the ramp properly.
  • Make sure there are enough coaches available for deplaning the pax and take care that baggage should reach Arrival before the pax.
  • Check the cleaning and take the boarding clearance from the Cabin crew and announce it on R.T.
  • Make sure loading is done as per Loading Instruction Report given by the Load and Trim staff.
  • After departure make sure that all the equipment’s are sent back to the transport yard.
  • Fill the ramp filling.
  • During the flight ensure everyone is smooth, safe and the flight is on time.

Catering: To carry out safe, secure and on time operations in accordance with the ground operations of catering and achieve profitability through controls and measurements

  • Work closely with various employees of other departments in the same organization.
  • Implement innovative strategies for Operational efficiency, cost control & minimize wastage of food and beverages.
  • Monitor the performance of Catering Unit assigned to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting the desired targets.
  • Maintain Log books and various other reports viz: books of account. Menu planning, indenting and purchasing, Uplifts and Off Loads.
  • Build and maintain relations with the Catering Unit,
  • Implement marketing plans made by the organization for augmenting the business volume by enhancing brand visibility and implementing business plans/strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation.
  • Achieve increased sales and maximizing profit in assigned territory.
  • Interact with the Crew / Ground Staff to gather feedback regarding the products / utilities provided.
  • :Prospensite for overly sagendy stock akin a Chare, / store kne, BreaKage Reports, etc

Cabin Appearance:  Manage on time completion of assigned projects as per the procedures set for Ground Operation.

  • Coordinate with all stations / Cabin Grooming SPOCs / CG Regional Managers as per instructions from the DGM.
  • Coordinate with all concerned departments & external / outsourced agencies to ensure that enough resources / materials are made available for Aircraft Grooming.
  • All reports related to Cabin Grooming are maintained / updated and circulated to the concerned.
  • Co-ordinate for any meetings with all outsourced agencies and vendors.
  • Keep / maintain / update records for all agencies / vendors engaged by IndiGo.
  • Ensure that all SOPs as set in the contract by IndiGo are followed by all outsourced agencies / vendors involved in Cabin Grooming.
  • Drive discipline and operational excellence (SOP compliance) by effective execution of dependability matrix.
  • Situational leadership – dealing with ambiguity, crisis management, and service recovery.
  • Facilitate the development opportunities individuals need for successful performance through briefings / trainings & other interventions.
  • Accurate identification of team strengths and weaknesses in order to identify training and development needs.
  • Ensure smooth and error free service in all areas of Cabin grooming operation thus ensuring OTP / OTT is maintained as well as to have safe operation.
  • Adhere to the defined grooming standards and demonstrate punctuality in all aspects by adhering to the stipulated reporting timings.
  • Showcase IndiGo values consistently in all work approaches, act as a leader for change, and drive excellence in all work aspects.
  • Lead or collaborate effectively in high-intensive projects and engage in initiatives driving significant business impact.
