Responsibilities:
• As a Python developer, you will support portfolio reporting frameworks for our banking customers.
• Extract large database information (MS Access/SQL), perform validation, and create reports. Create visualizations (using Power BI), dashboards/KPI scorecards.
• Your responsibilities will include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services (Visual Data Studio).
• Responsible for gathering requirements, configuring, backing up, and maintaining database procedures and their documentation.
• Provide estimates of effort for report preparation and collaborate with client and project manager to inform project planning. Provide advice and guidance to clients on report optimization and performance considerations. You can also provide your customers with skills, help them understand reporting functionality, and create custom reports for them.
• We are looking for individuals with strong analytical skills who can work independently, conduct research, analyze problems, and solve problems.
Qualifications we are looking for in you!
Education Requirement
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience in data analysis and best practices to evaluate performance factors
– 3+ years of experience in customer or supplier contact with emphasis on relationship management and negotiation skills
Skills Requirement
• Appropriate years of professional experience as a Python developer.
• Required skills – Python (Visual Data Studio), knowledge of SQL, MS Access, VBA macros, MS Excel, and Power Query.
• It would be an advantage if the candidate also understands his Power BI, Jupyter Notebooks, Snowflake and has experience in the banking sector.
