This is a regional position responsible for the civil maintenance of existing D-Mart facilities spread over an extended area of approximately 8+ L Sft (approximately 20 stores in various cities) by a team of sellers. The average store is approximately 40,000 square feet and each store has approximately 150 to 200 employees.
About The Role
The role of an assistant civil maintenance manager typically involves overseeing and managing civil maintenance activities within an organization. This role is commonly found in construction, real estate, facility management, and other industries that require maintenance of social infrastructure. Here we outline the responsibilities and duties associated with the role. Develop and implement social infrastructure maintenance plans to ensure the maintenance and longevity of buildings, facilities, and structures.
Responsibilities:
• Extensive engagement with the store team in case of reported defects to identify likely causes and suggest solutions to tackle the same.
• Coordination with vendors to ensure timely completion of work with focus on quality. Quite often the interaction is to be done from a remote location, building rapport & relationship with vendors so as to ensure timely resolution of the breakdown.
• Visit stores regularly to identify potential problem areas so as to address them in a planned manner.
• Track and monitor resolution of issues reported by Stores.
– In cooperation with stores, we will carry out various activities related to waterproofing, gutters, drainage, etc. to prevent water leakage in stores.
• Creating cost estimates and budgets for minor tasks.
• Washrooms and sanitary facilities must be in good condition at all times

- B. Tech
Skills Requirement
– Ability to plan and monitor preventive maintenance / repair requirements
– Experience of handling work across multiple locations, multitasking.
– Ability to manage / develop vendor base
