Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities of this role include month-end closing of multiple general ledger accounts, ensuring proper validation of outstanding balances, preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
· This position supports management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies.
· On the audit side, the Accounting Assistant manages the department’s response to internal and external audit requests and also ensures compliance with Sox requirements for all regions/activities handled by Shared Services.
· This position also plays a key role in driving systems/process development within the department and ensuring continuous efficiency and control improvements.
· The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment..
Education Requirement
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Commerce (B. Com)
– Advanced level knowledge of Excel
– Experience using Microsoft Office products and applications.
Skills Requirement
- – 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
