Job Introduction
The candidate should have a complete understanding of the inter modal/rail logistics space with experience in handling external shippers and good with carrier/stakeholder management and have potential to draw projects out of the program and should be able to communicate with NA stake holders clearly in the written and oral form. She/he should be able to come up with process improvements drive them through completion, including owning up the KPI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a shift, constantly identifying opportunities to improve team performance and owning associated change management.
- Developing and/or referring to performance metrics to drive team performance and business results.
- Identifying the business impact of trends and making data backed decisions.
- Escalating problems or variances in the information and data to the relevant owners and following through on resolutions.
- Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed, is a plus.
A day in the life :
- Conduct A/B testing and implement optimization strategies to improve campaign performance and ROI.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, performance marketing best practices, and emerging technologies, making recommendations for innovative campaign strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and developers, to ensure campaign alignment and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of campaign metrics, expenses, and budgets using spreadsheets.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of work experience in intermodal logistics space
- · MBA/ Master’s degree in Operations from a reputed institute – Logistics/transportation background and lean/six sigma training is a plus
Skills Requirement
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a focus on performance marketing.
- Proven expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in conducting keyword research and optimizing campaigns for search engines.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
