The CFO Analytics team is looking for a talented, hands-on person with a focus on data and analytics to join our team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist, you’ll work on multiple advanced analytics projects and drive change within your team by providing solutions and insights.
Helps facilitate the planning, communication, delivery and execution of data and analytics work.
You will work collaboratively with multiple business and finance teams across Verizon.
Adheres to industry standards and best practices and understands new technologies and trends to continuously improve systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes.
Education Requirement
BS/MS in Computer Science or MS in Statistics
4-6 years of extensive experience in building analytical models and designing analytical solutions
Skills Requirement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced analytics concepts Participate in the design, implementation, and interpretation of and related advanced analytics concepts and projects Deep knowledge of Big Data, AI, ML/DL
Supervised, unsupervised machine learning, and neural network techniques
Statistical computing languages (R, Python ) experience working with data and gaining insights from large datasets to win.
Knowledge of model deployment and monitoring
Strong knowledge of SQL (one or more) (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)
A plus with one or more of the following:
Knowledge of fraud detection
Reinforcement learning knowledge
